Jobs That Define Us

Each time we get a lousy job, we tend to think that jobs don’t define us. This is usually true, we are much more than our jobs. However, there are special jobs which can actually change our brains. One example are the taxi drivers in London, who have to memorize such a complicated city map, that a special area in their brain is much more developed than in common people.

Another example is the heavy equipment operator, who has to manipulate giant cranes or massive forklifts, to move huge items from place to place, while looking from their cabin’s height to all their colleagues who are below and who might get killed in a fraction of second if anything goes wrong during the operation. This kind of work is so soliciting, that crane operators work in four hour shifts, in order to preserve their sanity.
